Layne Lund

Layne Lund is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing and maintaining software applications. Currently serving as a Software Engineer III at Vyne Dental® since July 2021, Layne focuses on creating a REST API with Ruby on Rails and managing infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation. Previous roles include a Software Engineer position at Lightning Kite, where Layne developed web scraping software, and a Senior Software Developer role at Taxbot, leading a team to create a mobile application for tax deduction tracking. Earlier experience also encompasses software development for biotech companies at Accendero Software, both as a Software Engineer and Apprentice, as well as consulting on custom software projects while self-employed. Layne holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the University of Idaho and an Associate of Science in Computer Science from Ricks College.
