Mark Hensley

Mark Hensley has extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Mark is currently employed at Vyne Dental® as the Chief Information Security Officer and Senior Director of Technology and Risk Management since February 2020. Previously, they worked at Renaissance Electronic Services where they held several roles, including Director of Technology & Risk Management and Chief Information Security Officer from August 2017 to January 2020. Mark also served as the Director of Information Security from May 2015 to August 2017. Prior to that, Mark worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Lead Systems Engineer from August 2013 to April 2015. Mark'scareer in the United States Marine Corps spanned over two decades, during which they held various positions including U.S. Marine, Director of Technology / Information Assurance Officer, Chief Instructor, and Systems Administration Lead. Mark's extensive experience and certifications, including CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, and CRISC, showcase their expertise in information security and technology.

Mark Hensley, CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, CRISC, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management of Computer Information Systems from Park University, which they obtained from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career. These certifications include the Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) from (ISC)² in June 2019, the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) from ISACA in June 2018, the Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from (ISC)² in February 2017, and the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in August 2016.

Mark has also obtained certifications such as the PCI ISA from the PCI Security Standards Council in September 2015, the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in April 2013, the AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2022, and the AWS-CCP from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in June 2019. Furthermore, they obtained the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) from the IAPP - International Association of Privacy Professionals in March 2018. Mark also holds certifications from Cisco, including the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) in April 2013, the Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA) in May 2013, and the Cisco Certified Network Professional Routing and Switching (CCNP-RS) in August 2014.
