Julio Gutiérrez Vela

Julio Gutiérrez Vela is a skilled aerospace professional with extensive experience in spacecraft operations. Currently serving as a Spacecraft Operations Engineer at Vyoma since April 2025, Vela previously worked at EUMETSAT from July 2022 to March 2025 as an MTG Spacecraft Operations Preparation Engineer, focusing on the commissioning and routine operations of the Meteosat Third Generation Satellite. Prior roles include Galileo Spacecraft Troubleshooting Engineer and Product Assurance Engineer at spaceopal GmbH, where responsibilities involved anomaly reports and process improvement for the Galileo Project.
