Miguel Ángel Muñoz-Alía, PhD has been working in the scientific field since 2008. Miguel Ángel began their career as a Researcher PHD Student at Hospital Ramón y Cajal in 2008. In 2012, they moved to Centro Nacional de Biotecnología (CNB-CSIC). Madrid, Spain, where they also worked as a Researcher PHD Student. In 2015, they began working at Mayo Clinic Rochester as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Research Fellow. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Scientific Director of Paramyxovirus Engineering at Vyriad.
Miguel Ángel Muñoz-Alía obtained their Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences, General from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2008. Miguel Ángel then went on to obtain their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Genetics and Cell Biology from the same university in 2014.
