Ron Alton

Ron Alton is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in database administration and software development. Currently serving as Manager of Data Solutions at VyStar Credit Union since November 2023, Ron has held various pivotal roles including Database Administrator III at ERC and multiple positions at Allstate Benefits, where Ron transitioned from SQL Developer to Manager of Database Administration. Earlier experience includes lead development roles and software development at Allstate Workplace Division, as well as technical roles at IBM Global Services, Publix Super Markets, and Lumley Associates. Ron’s foundational skills were developed in the United States Air Force as a Crew Chief and Electronic Technician, combined with a Bachelor of Science in Information Science from the University of North Florida.
