Luciano Bonilla

Luciano Bonilla has extensive experience in the field of media production, innovation, and IVF. Luciano began their career in 2001 as a DVM Trainee Program at SOMECO Cattle Ranch, where they gained experience in transrectal palpation and ultrasonography, male breeding soundness evaluation and andrologic examination, semen evaluation, pathology and freeze techniques, and clinical and surgical practice. In 2002, they joined the Universidade Federal de Viçosa as a DVM Trainee Program, where they focused on beef cattle reproduction. In 2003, they became a DVM at Precoce Assistencia Pecuaria. In 2005, they became self-employed as a Cattle Reproduction specialist. In 2006, they joined Ovatech/Embogen, LLC as a Senior Embryologist. That same year, they joined the University of Florida as a Senior Biological Scientist, where they managed the bovine in vitro fertilization (IVF) laboratory and conducted research and development, developed BBH7 bovine embryo culture medium, bovine sexing sperm determination by real time RT-PCR, and participated in in vitro embryo production. In 2012, they joined MOFA Global a CRI Subsidiary as a Senior Embryologist and Stem Cell Therapy. In 2015, they joined Vytelle as the Director of Media Production and Innovation, where they managed media manufacturing and quality control testing, established an IVF laboratory, created and managed large data sets, designed and supervised R&D projects, and developed the Vytelle IVF portal and mobile app. In 2018, they were promoted to Hermiston Business Director, where they managed process innovation, client relationships, and inventory, and provided IT support and development. In 2020, they were promoted to Director of IVF.

Luciano Bonilla earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso do Sul between 1998 and 2003.
