Zach Bartenslager has a diverse work experience, beginning with a summer internship in 2015 at Delaware County, Ohio Cooperative Extension. From 2015 to 2020, they held two roles at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, first as a Lecturer/Livestock Judging Coach in the Animal Science department, and then as a Graduate Teaching Assistant/Livestock Judging Coach. In 2020, they moved to the University of Kentucky as an Extension Associate for Youth Livestock Programs, and is currently the Southeast Regional Sales Manager at Vytelle, a position they have held since 2022.

Zach Bartenslager began their educational journey at Hutchinson Community College, where they earned an Associate of Arts - AA in Agriculture, Agriculture Operations, and Related Sciences from 2011 to 2013. Zach then moved on to The Ohio State University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural and Extension Education Services from 2013 to 2015. Lastly, they completed their Master's degree in Animal Sciences from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville from 2015 to 2018.
