Julia McClatchy

Julia McClatchy is the current assistant to the editor in chief at W Magazine. Julia has always had a passion for fashion and knew from a young age that they wanted to work in the industry. After completing a degree in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology, Julia began their career as a brand ambassador for Emily Hsu Designs. Julia then interned at Theory during the summer of 2018 before taking on a role as marketing/merchandising assistant at Pure Barre. Julia was most recently keyholder at francesca’s before landing their current position at W Magazine.

Julia McClatchy is a Textile Marketing major at the University of Rhode Island's College of Business.

Some of their coworkers include Lauren Humphreys - Fashion Assistant, Tori López - Lead Fashion Assistant, and Maura Kemp - Fashion Assistant. Their manager is Nora Milch, Fashion Director.
