Michael Fitzgerald

Michael Fitzgerald is an accomplished executive in the real estate sector with extensive experience in retail and investment management. Currently serving as Executive Director and Head of US Retail at W. P. Carey Inc. since March 2022, Michael previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Realty Income Corporation and served as Senior Vice President of Retail Sale Leaseback Acquisitions at VEREIT, Inc. for nearly a decade. Their career also includes significant roles at AIC Ventures, Thomas Weisel Partners, Robertson Stephens, Merrill Lynch, and Salomon Smith Barney, where Michael developed expertise in acquisitions and finance. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from the University of Arizona.
