Heinrich Gier

Heinrich Gier has a diverse work experience in supply chain management and logistics. Heinrich started their career at Nestlé as a Sachbearbeiter Supply Chain Management, then progressed to roles as Leiter Logistik und Produktionsplanung and Projektmanager. Heinrich later joined Sandoz AG and Aeropharm GmbH as the Head of Supply Chain, where they were responsible for production planning, customer service, and launch management. After that, they worked at PAREXEL as the Associate Director Packaging, Labelling & Distribution, overseeing the commercial and quality-compliant management of the EU DC and central warehouse. Most recently, they served as the Head of Supply Chain Management at Grace, responsible for departments such as Operational Supply Chain Management and Production- and Distribution Logistics. Currently, they hold the position of Director Order Fulfillment, Planning and Logistics EMEA & APAC at W. R. Grace.

Heinrich Gier attended the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden from 1994 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Diplom-Betriebswirt with a focus on Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Controlling & Unternehmensführung). Prior to that, they completed an apprenticeship as a Hotelkaufmann at Steigenberger Hotels AG - Steigenberger Airport Hotel in Frankfurt from 1990 to 1993. Heinrich Gier also holds several additional certifications, including SAP-Anwender-Zertifkat mit Auszeichnung from SAP in 2016, NEM - Novartis Emergency Management from Novartis in 2013, and various other certifications related to their field of work.
