Robert Hughes

Robert Hughes is an experienced researcher and development professional with extensive expertise in organic chemistry. Currently serving as a Senior R&D Advisor at W. R. Grace & Co. since June 2021, Robert has previously held senior advisory and managerial roles at Albemarle Corporation from September 2007 to May 2021, and has worked as a Principal Scientist at both Boehringer Ingelheim and Pfizer. Robert's career began at Roche Colorado Corporation as a Senior Research Scientist. Academically, Robert holds a Postdoctoral Research Associate degree in Organic Chemistry from Colorado State University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Wayne State University, complemented by a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Northern Michigan University.
