Gail Summers

Quality Improvement Director at WABASH VALLEY ALLIANCE INC

Gail Summers has worked in the Community Mental Health field and with Valley Oaks for more than 30 years. During her tenure she has held clinical positions including mental health technician, case manager, employment support specialist, and program coordinator. During her clinical time, she focused on recovery and evidenced based services for individuals with serious and persistent mental illness, was a client advocate, and developed programs to help individuals more successfully live and work in their local communities.

For the past 17 years she has served as Valley Oaks Quality Improvement Director. In this role she helps the organization to focus on best practices and quality services, as well as helping to ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, accrediting and funding requirements. In addition, she assists the organization in the use of key performance indicators to measure and improve upon organizational success. She seeks to identify and fill gaps in service needs so that everyone who needs help can have access to it.

She is active in mental health and addiction activities in the community and currently serves as the Vice President of the Board Trustees for the Tippecanoe County Public Library.
