Tod Waddell

Tod Waddell has extensive experience in the field of internal audit and compliance. Tod began their career at Ashland, Inc. in 2001, where they worked as an Audit Senior and was responsible for leading audits and managing staff. Tod then joined Hexion Specialty Chemicals, where they served as an Internal Audit Supervisor/Manager and later as an Internal Audit Senior Manager. During their time at Hexion, Tod played a key role in identifying business risks and developing comprehensive audit plans. Tod also completed a two-year assignment in Europe, where they built and guided the European Internal Audit Department. In 2010, Tod joined Momentive Performance Materials as a Director of Internal Audit, where they had global responsibilities for managing strategic risks, improving business processes, and leading fraud investigations. Tod then moved on to Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc. in 2014, where they served as the Director of Internal Audit and reported to the Chairman of the Audit Committee. Currently, Tod holds the position of VP - Internal Audit & Compliance at Wabash National.

Tod Waddell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Franklin University, which they obtained from 1989 to 1991. Tod furthered their education by pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Franklin University, completing the program from 1993 to 1995. In addition to their formal education, Tod Waddell has obtained various professional certifications throughout their career. These certifications include being a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), albeit currently inactive, which they acquired in October 1993 from the Accountancy Board of Ohio. Moreover, they became a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) in June 2002 and achieved a Certified in Financial Management (CIFM) certification in October 2002, both from the Institute of Management Accountants. Tod Waddell also obtained a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners in February 2010. Tod later earned the Certified in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) certification in September 2012, offered by the Institute of Internal Auditors. Most recently, Tod Waddell completed the Wabash Authentic Leadership Program in May 2022, offered by the Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education.
