Balaji Karunakaran is an experienced professional in the field of purchasing and procurement, currently serving as Senior Manager Purchase at Wabtec Corporation since September 2015, focusing on Brakes and Safety products and leading localization projects for Coupler products across India and Europe. Prior experience includes a role as Assistant Manager for Purchase of Powertrain parts at Renault Nissan Technology & Business Centre India, where Balaji was a key member in the localization of Gearbox with local suppliers.
