Adam Emmerich

Adam Emmerich is a prominent partner and co-chair of the corporate department at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, where a focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and securities law is maintained. Since joining the firm in December 1986, Adam has represented a diverse range of public and private corporations in various industries, both in the United States and globally, handling matters related to M&A, divestitures, spin-offs, joint ventures, and financing. Prior to this, Adam served as a law clerk for Hon. Abner J. Mikva at the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit from August 1985 to August 1986 and worked as an analyst at Braxton Associates from 1981 to 1982. Adam's educational background includes a JD from the University of Chicago Law School and a BA in Economics from Swarthmore College.
