Fernando Arroyo, MBA, M.Ed. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Fernando currently serves as the Chief People Officer and previously held the position of Chief of Staff at Waco Family Medicine since January 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Advisor in Services Project/Program Management at Dell Technologies from June 2019 to December 2019.

Fernando also has experience as the Founder and Principal of Arroyo Consulting and Education Services from June 2008 to June 2019, where they provided consulting and educational services. Fernando has also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Temple College from February 2014 to January 2019, and at McLennan Community College from October 2012 to January 2019.

In the past, Fernando served as an MBA Graduate Intern at Dell Technologies from May 2018 to August 2018, where they were involved in developing a partner cybersecurity strategy and implementing a technology-driven cybersecurity audit program.

Additionally, Fernando has experience in the non-profit sector, having served as the Director of Family Services at Waco Habitat for Humanity from August 2005 to June 2013. Fernando also worked as an Educator and Administrator at Waco Independent School District from July 2004 to June 2006, and as a Middle School Science Instructor and Science Olympiad Coach at Hyde Park Baptist Schools from July 2003 to May 2004.

Earlier in their career, Fernando held positions at Mission Waco, where they served as the Director of Youth Programs from August 1998 to June 2003 and briefly as the Computer Training Center Director from May 1998 to July 1998.

Fernando Arroyo holds an MBA degree in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on Management Information Systems, from Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business. Fernando earned this degree from 2017 to 2019. Prior to their MBA, Fernando obtained an M.Ed in Educational Leadership and Administration from Concordia University Texas, between 2003 and 2005. Fernando also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Baylor University, obtained from 1998 to 2000. Fernando has taken additional certification courses in various subjects such as communication, data analysis, and finance. Fernando also has certifications related to safety training and counseling.
