Jordan McDonald

Jordan McDonald is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in the automotive and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Project Engineer at Fortescue Zero since October 2021, Jordan has led data acquisition projects and coordinated DFMEAs for electric vehicles during a secondment in Australia. Additionally, Jordan has been an Advisor at Emerald Operating Partners since July 2022, producing technical reports across diverse topics in the transport and energy industries. Previously, at Bentley Motors, Jordan held roles including Powertrain Certification Engineer and Powertrain Calibration Engineer, where responsibilities included compliance certification, fuel economy testing, and conducting INCA experiments. Jordan began professional development with an undergraduate internship at Wall Colmonoy, focusing on process improvement. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Engineering Leadership and Management from Swansea University and a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering from the University of the West of England.
