Tom Van Hemelryck, CRC has over 30 years of experience in the banking industry. Tom began their career in 1987 as a VP - Senior Commercial Lender at U.S. Bank. From 2003 to 2009, they worked at Columbia River Bank as a Senior Vice President - Business Banking Team Leader. Tom then moved on to PremierWest Bank where they served as a Senior Vice President - Business Banking Team Leader from 2009 to 2011. Van Hemelryck joined Bank of the Cascades (now First Interstate Bank) in 2011 as a Senior Vice President - Commercial Loan Manager, and later became the Idaho Region President at WaFd Bank in 2013. Their experience includes leading commercial teams, remediation of stressed loan portfolios, and business banking team leadership.

Tom Van Hemelryck, CRC has a comprehensive education history in the field of finance and banking. Tom obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Montana State University-Bozeman in 1986. Following this, they enrolled in the Pacific Coast Banking School from 1998 to 2000, where they concentrated on studying banking without obtaining a specific degree.

In addition to their formal education, Tom Van Hemelryck has acquired two certifications. Tom obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS in August 2018. This certification signifies their specialization in preventing money laundering activities. Furthermore, they obtained the RMA Credit Risk Certification from The Risk Management Association in April 2012, demonstrating their expertise in managing credit risks.
