Matt Theccanat

Matt Theccanat, CFA, is an experienced finance professional specializing in sustainable investments. Currently serving as Vice President at Wafra since August 2021, Matt has progressively held positions from Analyst to Senior Associate within the Sustainable Investment Group. Prior to Wafra, Matt contributed to Vanguard's investment strategy in active fixed income and equity, as well as serving as a Credit Research Associate focused on the energy and pharmaceuticals sectors. Early career experience includes roles as a Summer Analyst and Summer Intern at Consequent Capital Management, an Emerging Markets Research Intern at Emerging Markets Investors Alliance, and a Fixed Income Research Intern at Smith Graham & Co. Matt holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Finance from New York University, and a High School Diploma from William P. Clements High School.
