Tobias Fischer

Tobias Fischer has a diverse work experience spanning from 2011 to present. From 2011-2013, they worked as an Insurance Broker at Fischer Financial Services. From 2013-2014, they were a Junior Inhouse Consultant at Allianz SE (AMOS) Asia-Pacific. From 2014-2015, they were a Business Development Manager at Lendico Global Services GmbH, Rocket Internet SE. From 2015-2016, they were an Entrepreneur in Residence | EiR at Startupbootcamp FinTech. From 2016-2018, they were the Director Corporate Development at Capital Match and Regional FinTech Advisor at Asian Development Bank (ADB). In 2018, they were Co-Founder at Impact Credit Solutions and Regional Lending Program Manager at Grab. Most recently, in 2020, they became Co-Founder & CEO of wagely.

Tobias Fischer obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Finance & Economics from Fachhochschule Osnabrück between 2010 and 2014. During 2012 and 2013, they studied Leadership and Strategic Thinking in Southeast Asia at James Cook University. In 2013, Tobias was OPEX Blue Belt trained in the Six Sigma Methodology at Allianz Group. In 2012, they obtained a Certified Insurance Broker (IHK) from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry North Westfalia. In 2016, they obtained Rules and Regulations for Dealing in Securities (SGX-ST Members) from IBFSG - The Institute of Banking & Finance Singapore. Lastly, in 2017, they obtained a Representative under the Securities and Futures Act (CAP 289) (“SFA”) and/or Financial Advisers Act (CAP 110) (“FAA”) from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
