Matthew Butler

Matthew T. Butler serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer at Waggoner Engineering since January 2023. Prior to this role, Matthew held the position of Senior Vice President at Atlas Technical Consultants from November 2018 to January 2023, where responsibility included managing large-scale infrastructure improvement programs. Matthew's previous roles include Executive Director & Market Leader for the Greater New Orleans Area at CSRS, Vice President of Sales at Jacobs, and Senior Vice President of Strategic Operations at CB&I. Early career experience includes serving as a Director at URS Corporation and as an Environmental Permit Specialist at the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality. Matthew holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from McNeese State University and an M.S. in Environmental Chemistry from Southern University and Agricultural and Mechanical College at Baton Rouge.
