Islam Elzayyadi - ESMC, SFC

Islam Elzayyadi has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, they hold the position of Project Operations Manager - US at Wahed since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Deriv from November 2019 to August 2022, starting as a Project Manager and progressing to the role of Project Management Team Lead and then Senior Project Manager.

Before their time at Deriv, Islam worked at Ata Plus, a blockchain-enhanced Equity Crowdfunding online platform, where they served as the Lead for Digital Marketing & Accounts from November 2016 to November 2019. In this role, they were responsible for designing and executing digital and social media marketing strategies, managing crowdfunding business accounts, and developing standard operating procedures for various business operations.

Islam also gained experience as a Human Capital Analyst and Reporting PMO at CareerXcell from March 2015 to October 2016. Islam briefly served as the Head of Business Development (MENA) at Fajar Ulung Sdn. Bhd from December 2013 to February 2015.

Furthermore, Islam has worked in the public relations domain, serving as a Public Relations Coordinator at The World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation from July 2013 to November 2013, and as an Intern in PR & Communication at World Islamic Economic Forum Foundation from June 2012 to December 2012.

Islam Elzayyadi attended the International Islamic University Malaysia from 2009 to 2013, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Management. In addition to their degree, they have earned several certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Introduction to Teaching Young Learners" certification program offered by the British Council Malaysia. In 2019, they obtained a certification in "Introduction to Programming Using HTML, CSS, Python & Java" from Udacity. Most recently, in 2020, they became a Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) and an Expert Scrum Master Certified (ESMC) through SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile.
