Thamid Hannan

Thamid Hannan has a diverse work experience. Thamid is currently working as the Head of Content at Wahed since December 2022. Prior to that, they were a Community Manager at WahedX starting in September 2022. From January 2022 to September 2022, Thamid worked as a Manager - Islamic Finance at MyAhmed. Before joining MyAhmed, they worked at IFAAS (Islamic Finance Advisory & Assurance Services) from July 2018 to December 2021, where they held different roles including Manager, Associate Manager, and Intern. Thamid also has experience as an Operations Intern at Eaton from June 2016 to July 2017.

Thamid Hannan completed their Bsc in Economics & Management with Industrial Placement at Aston Business School from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they attended Stoke Sixth Form College from 2012 to 2014, where they obtained A-Levels in Economics, Business Studies, and English Language. Thamid completed their secondary education at Co-operative Academy at Brownhills from 2007 to 2012, achieving 15 GCSE's Grade A*-C. Additionally, Thamid has obtained several certifications, including a Certificate in International Auditing from ACCA in November 2020, a Certificate in Islamic Commercial Law from CIMA in November 2020, a Certified Shari'a Adviser and Auditor from the Accounting and Auditing Organization for Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI) in October 2019, and an Islamic Finance Qualification from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (The CISI) in April 2019.
