Alia Knightbird

Alia Knightbird started their work experience in 2017 as a UX/UI Designer at Lucidia, where they contributed to cross-platform projects and provided guidance on UX best practices. Alia then moved on to ASAPP Financial Technology Inc. as a UX Specialist, where they independently designed and implemented an updated user experience interface for an account and lending origination solution. Alia conducted user studies, interviews, and stakeholder interviews to gather feedback and make design changes. In 2019, they joined Home Trust Company as a User Experience Designer, where they continued to contribute to the design of user experiences until 2022. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Wahi as a Senior UX Researcher.

Alia Knightbird completed a short program in UX Design at General Assembly Canada in 2017. Prior to that, they attended Dalhousie University from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on Neuroscience. It is worth noting that Alia Knightbird did not obtain a degree from either institution.
