Gunther Hagleitner

Gunther Hagleitner is an experienced technology executive serving as the CEO and Co-Founder of Waii since April 2023. Hagleitner has been a Hive PMC Member and a Tez PMC Member at The Apache Software Foundation since 2013. Prior to Waii, Hagleitner held the position of SVP of Engineering & Product at Cribl from January 2022 to May 2023, and served as VP of Engineering at Cloudera from April 2019 to January 2022, focusing on data warehousing development. Hagleitner's previous roles include VP of Engineering for SQL and Analytics at Hortonworks, Software Development Manager at Amazon/Lab126, and multiple senior engineering positions at Yahoo!, TiVo, and IBM. Hagleitner earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Math/Computer Science from the University of Konstanz between 1996 and 2001.
