Bin Wu

Bin Wu is a seasoned accounting professional currently serving as the Team Leader of Accounting Services at Waimakariri District Council since January 2013. In this role, Bin Wu provides effective leadership to the accounting team, oversees staff performance, and leads the preparation of key financial reports, including the Council's Annual Report and Annual Plan. Previously, Bin Wu worked as an Accountant at the same Council, managing a variety of financial tasks such as preparing monthly management accounts, assisting with NZTA claims, and overseeing infrastructural assets. Prior experience includes serving as an Auditor at Audit New Zealand, where responsibilities included supervising and auditing local councils and council-owned organizations. Bin Wu holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Canterbury and received earlier education at Middleton Grange School.
