Arica Brown

Arica Brown, M.Ed., currently serves as the Education Programs Manager for Wake County Public School System, where responsibilities include managing individualized education programs and integrating technology to enhance student learning outcomes. Previous experience includes the role of Post-release Program Manager at Resilience Education, focused on reducing recidivism and improving economic mobility, and Program Director at Empowered Parents in Community, working to address systemic racism in education. Arica has also held positions as a Special Education Teacher and Research Associate, contributing significantly to the fields of special education and community support. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications from Virginia Commonwealth University, a Master of Education in Special Education from George Mason University, and an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
