Barney Blackburn

Barney Blackburn, PE, CPESC, CPSWQ, currently serves as Engineering Supervisor for Wake County since March 2022, following a role as Staff Engineer for the Town of Fuquay-Varina. Previous positions include Environmental Engineer Supervisor and Environmental Consultant at Wake County, Senior Stormwater Engineer at STV, Stormwater Engineer at AECOM, and Soil & Water Engineering Supervisor at NCDOT. Barney Blackburn holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Engineering from North Carolina State University, obtained between 1994 and 1999.
