Misty Filzen

Misty Filzen, SPHR, is a seasoned professional in compensation and human resources with extensive experience in diverse roles. Currently serving as a Senior Compensation Consultant at Wake County since September 2021, Misty previously contributed to Cumberland County Government as a Compensation Analyst from July 2018 to September 2021, focusing on market surveys, compensation studies, and data analytics. Prior experience includes managing office operations at Papa’s Auto Glass, where responsibilities encompassed payroll, inventory management, and human resource administration from June 2009 to January 2020, as well as serving as a Human Resources Specialist for Cumberland County Human Resources from April 2016 to July 2018. Misty holds a degree from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, with a focus on Local Government Leadership through the Leadership Academy.
