Jim Dziedzina

Jim Dziedzina, CPA, CGMA has a background in finance and accounting, with a focus on healthcare organizations. Jim began their career at Myers and Stauffer LC, where they quickly rose through the ranks to become a Senior Audit Manager. In this role, they managed a team of auditors and IT professionals and oversaw office operations and audit programs.

Dziedzina then transitioned to Raleigh Orthopaedic, where they started as a Controller and later became the CFO. In this position, they were responsible for financial reporting and controls for multiple urgent care and physical therapy locations. Jim also collaborated with external partners such as CPAs, bankers, and real estate developers.

Currently, Dziedzina is the Chief Financial Officer at Wake Emergency Physicians, PA. Jim initially joined the company as the Director of Finance & Strategic Initiatives and later transitioned into the CFO role. In this position, they have provided financial insights, market analysis, and due diligence for growth strategies. Jim has also developed financial projections and launch strategies for new locations and secured low-interest debt for expansion efforts.

Jim Dziedzina, CPA, CGMA, obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Saint Leo University from 2002 to 2008. Jim then pursued further education and earned their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting from Saint Leo University from 2009 to 2011. In 2013 and 2014, they completed a Graduate Certificate program in Health Care Management at the same institution.

In terms of additional certifications, Jim Dziedzina obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the North Carolina State Board of CPA Examiners in October 2011. Jim also earned the Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) designation from the AICPA in December 2012. Furthermore, they hold several certificates from the AICPA, including the Application of Data Analysis Essentials Certificate obtained in June 2023, the Data Analytics Foundations Certificate obtained in May 2023, and the IFRS Certificate acquired in June 2022.
