Darlene Baxter

Darlene Baxter has been working at Wake Forest Baptist Health since August 2001, holding the position of Assistant Nurse Manager. In this role, Darlene is responsible for supervising and evaluating 70 FTE, overseeing scheduling, and ensuring high-quality care for two cardiac telemetry units consisting of 48 beds. Prior to this, Darlene worked as a Staff Registered Nurse at Wake Forest Innovations, where Darlene has been for over 35 years. With a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Practice from Liberty University and a Diploma of Nursing from Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing, Darlene has a strong background in cardiac nursing and critical care.
