Brian White

Brian White currently serves as Vice President and General Counsel at Wake Forest University, a position held since July 2023. Prior to this role, Brian was General Counsel and Vice Chancellor for Legal Affairs at The University of Kansas from August 2018 to July 2023. Brian's extensive legal career in academia includes roles as Chief Counsel at UConn Health, Associate General Counsel at the University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, and Senior Assistant Director and Legal Counsel at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. Additionally, Brian contributed to the University of Iowa College of Public Health as an Adjunct Associate Professor from January 2008 to July 2023. Brian's legal background is further complemented by an earlier tenure as an attorney at Boundas Skarzynski Walsh and Black and Peterson & Ross. Academic achievements include a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Iowa.
