Celeste Childs

Celeste Childs is a dedicated and accomplished undergraduate student at Wake Forest University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science with a focus on Pre-Medicine. Since August 2021, Celeste has been involved in Network Physiology Research at Wake Forest University, investigating the cardiovascular system's interconnectedness in patients with Down syndrome and contributing as a co-author to an abstract presented at a prominent conference. Additionally, Celeste represents the university as a selected travel squad member of the Wake Forest University Cheerleading Team, demonstrating strong time management, leadership, and collaborative skills. Prior experience includes serving as a childcare worker at Parkway Presbyterian Preschool, where Celeste managed a classroom of young children, and as a gymnastics instructor at Salem Gymnastics Center, where lesson planning and adherence to safety protocols were priorities.
