Fred Horton is a Professor Emeritus of Religion at Wake Forest University, where Fred has served since July 2011. Prior to this role, Fred Horton was Theologian-in-Residence at St. Paul's Episcopal Church from June 1985 to June 2009. Academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in New Testament from Duke University (1971), a Bachelor of Divinity in New Testament from Union Theological Seminary (1967), and an A.B. in Psychology and Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1964).
