Marina Velasco

Marina Velasco currently serves as the Web Content Manager for the Wellbeing Center at Wake Forest University since August 2021. Previously, Marina held the position of Economics Research Assistant, where research focused on the impacts of COVID-19 on trust in political institutions and voting behavior in Peru, resulting in the production of two comprehensive reports. From May to August 2022, Marina worked as an Operations Intern at Lockton Companies, contributing to strategic research within the Business Development Unit of Lockton Peru Corredores de Reaseguros. Marina is pursuing an intended Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Affairs at Wake Forest University, expected to graduate in 2024, and holds a High School and IB Diploma from San Silvestre School. Additionally, Marina has been involved with the Latin American Heads Conference since 2018.
