Matthew Clifford

Matthew Clifford serves as the Associate Vice President of Campus Life and Dean of Students at Wake Forest University since January 2010, with prior roles including Associate Vice President for Campus Life and Interim Dean of Students, Assistant Vice President of Campus Life and Dean of Residence Life and Housing, Associate Dean of Students for Student Conduct, Director of Special Projects, and Director of Residence Life. Previously, Matthew held the position of Director of Residential Life at Jacksonville University from July 2004 to December 2010 and worked as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Carolina from June 2003 to June 2004. Earlier experience includes serving as a Residential Life Programs Associate at MIT from January 2002 to May 2003. Matthew holds an Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida, an M.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from the University of South Carolina, and an A.B. in English from Davidson College.
