Melody Martin

Melody Martin, CMP, currently serves as the Director of Presidential Engagement at Wake Forest University since August 2015, leading presidential initiatives and providing project management for the Office of the President. Previous roles include Director of Presidential Advancement, where Melody acted as the main liaison to the President's Office, and Program Director for the award-winning Call to Conversation initiative. Additional experience encompasses interim support for President Susan R. Wente and various event management roles, contributing extensively to event planning for over 30 annual events to support a $1B capital campaign. Prior to Wake Forest University, Melody worked at Appalachian State University in administrative roles supporting the Chancellor and the Registrar, facilitating numerous special events and commencement ceremonies. Melody holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education and a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Appalachian State University.
