Meagan Buckley

Meagan Buckley has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry, primarily in leadership positions in various care facilities. Meagan began their career as an Administrator in Training at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation in 2004. Meagan then served as an Administrator at Langdon Place of Exeter in 2005, focusing on the operation of an Independent and Assisted Living community. Following that, they worked as an Assistant Administrator/Alzheimer Program Director at SunBridge Care and Rehabilitation for Portsmouth, where they played a key role in strategizing the creation of a specialized care center for residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease.

In 2006, Meagan joined Kindred Healthcare, first as an Executive Director of a 67-bed community, where they successfully led a turnaround by implementing culture change and accountability initiatives. Meagan then served as the Executive Director of a 72-bed rehabilitation center, focusing on census development and marketing with the community.

Starting in 2009, Meagan took on the role of Senior Executive Director at Revera Inc., overseeing the operations of a 141-bed center and later a 126-bed sub-acute rehab center. During their time at Revera, they achieved significant improvements in clinical outcomes and financial performance, leading the center from a 1 Star to a 3 Star rating within three months.

In 2015, Meagan joined Genesis as an Executive Director, where they were responsible for the operations of a 126-bed sub-acute rehab and long-term care facility. Meagan successfully managed a team of 20 department leaders and 170 employees, exceeding both Medicare and Medicaid case mix budgets.

Meagan'smost recent position is as the President and CEO of Wake Robin Life Plan Community, which is Vermont's first Life Plan Community. In this role, Meagan is responsible for carrying out the mission, vision, and strategy of the organization. Wake Robin includes independent living, residential care, and skilled nursing homes.

Throughout their career, Meagan has demonstrated strong leadership skills, a focus on delivering exceptional care, and a commitment to improving outcomes for residents.

Meagan Buckley completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of New Hampshire between 2000 and 2004. Meagan later pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management from Southern New Hampshire University, starting in 2015 and expected to end in 2025.
