Benita Clark is currently the VP of Human Resources & College Safety at Wake Technical Community College. Before that, they were the Director of Human Resources at FleetPride from April 1998 to January 2010. During their time at FleetPride, they were praised by the CEO as "energetic, diplomatic, and one of the best communicators in the company". Benita built an excellent HR staff by screening managerial candidates, picking the best, and working closely with them to get the right people for recruitment, benefits, training and safety. Benita also managed a diverse team of 10 members that provided all the guidance for 2,400 employees and solved problems that kept the company in compliance with all state and federal personnel laws. By listening closely to managers and employees, they were able to keep the CEO and Senior Management team informed of successes and problems, which resulted in no surprises.
Benita Clark completed a Master of Science in Administration with a concentration in Human Resources & Administration from Central Michigan University.
