Karen Meleta

Karen Meleta serves as the Chief Communications Officer and Vice President of Consumer & Corporate Communications at Wakefern Food Corp., a position held since October 1999. As a member of the executive leadership team, Karen leads the corporate communications strategy, oversees consumer and public affairs, and manages a 50-person department while spearheading sustainability initiatives and corporate philanthropy. Previous roles include Director of Corporate Communications & Media Relations at Wakefern and Principal Consultant at ME Media, where Karen developed communication strategies for prominent clients. Early career experience at Avon included roles in sales and marketing services and as a Senior Writer/Producer. Karen holds an MBA from Rutgers University - Newark and a BFA from New York University.
