Meagen Lane has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. In 2003, they started their career as a Loss Prevention Detective at Macy's and also worked as a Student Intern at the United States Probation Office, where they were assigned to the Pre-Sentence Investigation team.

In 2004, Meagen joined Choice Recovery and held multiple roles, including Collector/Team Leader, Vice President, Operations Manager, and Director of Data Management and Reporting. During their time there, they played a key role in small and large balance debt collections, training and motivating collection specialists, and launching the Southeast Territory for the sales team.

Meagen's experience also extends to the public sector, as they worked as a Precinct Clerk at both the City of Newberry and the Alachua County Supervisor of Elections Office from 2014 to 2019.

In 2022, Meagen joined the Project Athena Foundation as a Staff member. Meagen also began working at Wakefield as the Director of Data Management for the ACE Div.

Meagen Lane obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Santa Fe College, which they attended from 2016 to 2021. Prior to that, from 2002 to 2004, they pursued a B.A. in Criminology at The Ohio State University. Meagen had initially enrolled in the University of Colorado Boulder in 1999, studying Psychology, but transferred to another institution before completing their degree. Meagen completed their high school education at Canon City High School, earning a Diploma between 1996 and 1999. The field of study for their high school education is not specified.
