Byron Sartain

Byron Sartain is an experienced project manager currently working at Wakely Consulting Group since July 2024. Prior roles include project manager at WestEd from May 2014 to May 2024, and various positions at Stanford University, including instructor and research fellow in musicology, and humanities research workshop coordinator. Additional teaching experience includes instructorships in music history and speech communication at the University of San Francisco and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, respectively. Byron Sartain holds a Ph.D. in Musicology from Stanford University, an M.A. in Music History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, a B.A. in Music from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, and has completed coursework in project management at UC Berkeley Extension.
