Chuck Harr

Chuck Harr is a highly experienced medical professional with extensive expertise in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery. Currently serving as Chief Medical Officer and Thoracic Surgeon at WakeMed since January 2016, Chuck previously held prominent positions including The Medical Officer of the Marine Corps at Headquarters Marine Corps from June 2013 to October 2022 and served as a cardiovascular and thoracic surgeon at Hawthorne Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery from July 2005 to October 2022. Additional notable roles include Commanding Officer of the 4th Medical Battalion in the US Navy and Rear Admiral in the Office Chief of Naval Reserves.
