Micah Krempasky

Micah Krempasky currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Behavioral Health at WakeMed, a position held since January 2021. Prior to this role, Micah was the Chief Patient Safety Officer at Mission Health from July 2009 to December 2020, where leadership in a comprehensive Patient Safety program enhanced clinical excellence and safety culture within a large hospital system and its affiliates. Additional roles include serving as a psychiatrist with extensive clinical experience in various settings and as the Patient Safety Officer for Behavioral Health, focusing on risk assessment and regulatory compliance. Micah holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from Franklin & Marshall College.
