Richard Krout has a comprehensive work experience in both private and military sectors. Richard started their career in the U.S. Marine Corps in 1986, where they served for 21 years. During their time in the Marine Corps, they held the position of Chief Warrant Officer 4, Engineer Equipment Officer, responsible for project management, operations, and maintenance.

After their military service, Richard joined Walbridge in 2007 and held various roles. Initially, they worked as a Manager in Training & Development until 2010, when they were promoted to Director of HR & Talent Development. Richard held this position until 2020 when they became the Vice President Assistant of Human Resources.

Overall, Richard has accumulated expertise in human resources, talent development, training, project management, and maintenance operations over their extensive career.

Richard Krout holds a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Executive MBA from the University of Michigan, which was completed in 2016. Richard also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, they hold a Master of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Oklahoma. Richard has obtained additional certifications including the Advanced Human Resource Executive Program from the Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education, expected to be completed in 2023, and the SHRM-SCP certification from SHRM, obtained in May 2019.
