Courtney Heard

Courtney Heard has worked in the field of pharmacology for over 17 years. Courtney began their career in 2003 as a Junior Scientist at Materion Corporation. In 2007, they joined Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, where they held various positions, including Scientist, Senior Associate Scientist IV in Pharmacology, Senior Associate Scientist III in Discovery Pharmacology, Senior Associate II Scientist in Discovery Pharmacology, Senior Associate Scientist in Discovery Pharmacology, and Associate Scientist in Discovery Pharmacology. In 2019, they moved to Cyclerion as a Senior Scientist and Scientist in Pharmacology. Most recently, they joined Walden Biosciences in 2020 as Associate Director and Senior Scientist in Pharmacology.

Courtney Heard earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biology from Framingham State University in 2007. Courtney then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Pharmacology from Michigan State University, which they completed in 2015.
