Melissa Villagomez

Melissa Villagomez serves as the Development and Special Events Manager at Walden Family Services since November 2018, where responsibilities include coordinating fundraising plans, managing donor communications, and overseeing donor software Raisers Edge. Prior to this role, Melissa held the position of Annual Giving Coordinator at Promises2Kids from October 2015 to October 2018, focusing on donor relationships and retention. Earlier experience includes serving as Development Associate at Just in Time for Foster Youth, while previous roles at San Diego County Credit Union and Hoehn Motors Inc involved customer service and training new employees. Melissa holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of San Diego, a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Criminology from California State University San Marcos, and an Associate of Arts in Sociology from MiraCosta College.
