Dr. la Toya Johnson

Dr. La Toya Johnson is an experienced academic and professional in the field of business education, currently serving as a Doctoral Advisor and Senior Student Success Advisor at Walden University since November 2009. Prior to Walden University, Dr. Johnson held positions at Northcentral University as the Assistant to the Dean of the School of Business, and at Grand Canyon University as a Career Services Specialist. Further foundational experience includes work as an Assistant Language Teacher with the Japanese Ministry of Education-Hyogo Prefecture and various roles with the City of Phoenix. Dr. Johnson's educational qualifications include a Doctor of Business Administration in Leadership from Walden University, a Master of Business Administration in Management from Northcentral University, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from Grand Canyon University, and an Associate Degree in General Business from Glendale Community College.
