Christina Assirati has extensive experience in early childhood education. Christina started their career in 1999 as an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher at the Floral Place Nursery School. Christina then moved on to become an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher at the Escola International de Alphaville from 2001 to 2003. In 2004, Christina became an Early Childhood Lead Teacher at Colégio Sidarta, where they planned and conducted various activities to promote children's development. Christina then worked as an Early Childhood Assistant Teacher at the Chicago Waldorf School from 2005 to 2007. Christina later joined Lifeways Inspired Home Daycare as a Childcare Provider from 2011 to 2012. From 2012 to 2015, they returned to the Chicago Waldorf School as an Early Childhood Lead Teacher. Their most recent position is at the Waldorf School of the Peninsula, where they have been an Early Childhood Lead Teacher since 2015. In all their roles, Christina has demonstrated skills in planning and leading activities, conducting parent meetings, and supporting children's development.
Christina Assirati holds a Bachelor of Education degree with a major in Early Childhood Education from Universidade Paulista, which they obtained from 2002 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Nutrition - Dietitian from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, from 1994 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications, including Perinatal Mental Health Frontline Provider Training from Postpartum Support International in 2021, a Site Supervisor Permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in September 2020, an Infant and Toddler Group Care Course from The Program for Infant and Toddler Care in 2019, a Simplicity Parenting Family Coach Course from Center for Social Sustainability CSS in 2019, an RIE Foundation Course from Resources for Infant Educators in 2016, a Waldorf Education Teacher Training from the Waldorf Teacher Institute (formerly called Arcturus) in 2007, and a Certificate in Early Years Care and Education (NVQ) from City and Islington College, London - England in 2000.
