Amal Susainathan

Amal Susainathan is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Principal Engineer in the CTO Office at Walgreens Boots Alliance since September 2024, Amal previously held the position of Distinguished Engineer in Digital & Innovation at TBC Corporation from September 2022 to August 2024. Prior to that, Amal worked at Microsoft Corporation from November 2010 to September 2022 as an Engineering Lead and Architect, focusing on the complete product life cycle and developing a scalable content build and publishing platform. Additional roles include Senior Lead Software Engineer at Visible Technologies, Senior Software Architect at GlobalScholar.com, and Senior Developer at CamSystems, among others. Amal also contributed as a TEALS volunteer, assisting with AP Computer Science instruction at Henry M Jackson High School. Amal's educational background includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from St. Joseph's College in Trichy.
